Your winter starts here
Your outward journey is now over — the hotel staff is here to welcome you with a drink by the fireplace. It’s just like home, or almost. The next morning, ski hire, ski school and lift passes are all arranged around you, and in the evening the restaurant serves the traditional cuisine of Savoie. Your holidays couldn’t have got off to a better start.
The slopes. The cable car stands 100 m from the hotel and whisks you up to 2,000 m in 7 minutes; the village centre is 5 minutes away. From there, the whole Paradiski area opens up — La Plagne, Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry — and Les 3 Vallées is only 20 minutes away.
The slow side. In Champagny le Haut, discover a 20 km Nordic world: cross-country trails, snowshoe paths and the famous Ice tower — then come back down to the saunas and the fire in the bar.
